Three Things to Fight for in This Life (MLA)

Introduction

It is not enough to be a prophet, apostle, evangelist, or servant in any position of God’s kingdom. Beyond titles and posts, there are deeper realities every believer must fight for. These three things - represented by the letters M, L, A - are pillars of spiritual survival and victory.

1. M = Mind of Christ

Philippians 2:5–11; Psalm 8:2

• Jesus possessed a mind beyond human comprehension: humble, obedient, servant hearted.

• Though equal with God, He chose to empty Himself, becoming a servant, obedient even unto death.

• This mind is the secret to strength: humility attracts power, pride repels it.

• Lesson: Fight to keep the mind of Christ. Choose to be small in your own eyes so God can exalt you.

2. L = Learning from Christ

Matthew 11:28–30; Isaiah 11:2–4

• Jesus invites us: “Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me.”

• Learning is active pursuit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

• Jesus demonstrated sound doctrine, wisdom, and boldness even in His youth.

• Lesson: Fight to remain a learner. To stop learning is to stop growing. The kingdom requires continual learning from Christ’s example.

3. A = Anointing of the Spirit

Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38; 1 John 2:27

• The anointing is the oil of empowerment - it enables healing, deliverance, proclamation of liberty.

• Without the anointing, ministry becomes dry ritual; with it, the kingdom advances in power.

• Saul lost his anointing through disobedience, but David preserved his through humility and reverence.

• Lesson: Fight to preserve the anointing. Guard it through obedience, purity, prayer, and reverence for the Holy Spirit.

Prophetic Flow of MLA

• Mind — the foundation of humility and obedience.

• Learning — the pathway to wisdom and growth.

• Anointing — the empowerment to fulfill kingdom purpose.

Together, these three form the believer’s arsenal. To neglect any is to weaken the fight; to embrace all is to walk in victory.

Conclusion

In this life, fight for more than titles. Fight for the Mind of Christ, the continual Learning from Christ, and the preservation of the Anointing of the Spirit. These three will secure your place in God’s kingdom and empower you to live fruitfully and victoriously.
